"An opportunity to sow seed and to cultivate a harvest!"

A Message from the Founding Chair, Ann Olsen:

While traveling in Romania in 1994 on a missions trip, I learned about one of the 5 building blocks mentioned in the Bible about worshiping the Lord. Although I had been a part of a worship team for many years, I was basically uneducated about the dance, or using the tambourine to praise and worship Jesus. I was being drawn into a more intimate relationship with the Lord, and my heart cried out for a deeper way in which to express to my Abba Father all the love that I hold for Him in my heart. I had actually thought about taking a sign language class, as my body yearned to be involved in worship along with my voice. Before I could act on that, I learned from my dear friend, Wendy, who was also in Romania, about the tambourine and the dance, just as it says in Psalms 150:4. She provided me with my first tambourine and challenged me to seek the Lord regarding the first set of meaningful ribbons to put on it.

One day, while waiting for a response from Yeshua, a beautiful full rainbow appeared in the pure blue sky. I had my answer, as the "Rainbow Covenant" ribbons were one of my considerations. When I began to share this with Wendy, she began to weep. She then handed me an envelope which held that very set of ribbons. They had been given to Wendy from a donor from her home church with the instructions that "someone on the trip will be needing these." The Lord had indeed confirmed my call.
